The Band's Biggest Hits Get a New Twist
Jared Leto recently sat down with GMA to discuss the upcoming release of Thirty Seconds to Mars' greatest hits album. The album, titled "A Beautiful Lie," will feature new versions of some of the band's most popular songs, including "The Kill" and "Closer to the Edge."
A Trip Down Memory Lane
Leto said that the album is a way for the band to revisit some of their favorite moments from their career. "We've been playing these songs for over a decade now, and it's been amazing to see how they've connected with people," he said. "We wanted to give them a new twist, but still keep the heart and soul of the originals."
The band worked with producer Rick Rubin on the album, who helped them to create a sound that is both fresh and familiar. "Rick really helped us to find a new way to approach these songs," Leto said. "He's a master at taking classic songs and giving them a modern edge."
The album is set to be released on September 29th, and Leto said that he hopes it will give fans a chance to experience the band's music in a whole new way. "We're really excited about this album," he said. "We think it's our best work yet."
